K-TECHnologies, a contract manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies is looking to hire Electronic Assemblers. We offer a fast paced, rewarding experience with project opportunities in high technology industries including space, defense, and aviation. In this role you will be required to… Perform high reliability soldering and crimping operations involving electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies. Perform assembly of various boards, standoffs, jumper wires, wire harness, subassemblies, final assemblies. Solder/crimp wires and jumpers to multiple pin connectors/assemblies Work from wiring schematics, parts lists, drawings, assembly worksheets, and other instructional media. Mix and apply various potting compound to assemblies/connectors. Utilize electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, fixtures, and various cleaning procedures; this may require using microscopes, mirrors, picks, and other high-resolution equipment. Be responsible for testing, monitoring, and utilizing soldering irons, crimpers, wristbands, volt/ohmmeter, and hi-pot equipment. Must understand high reliability soldering specifications, obtain and maintain certifications and assemble and inspect assemblies to IPC J-STD Requirements. Know and follow applicable ESD procedures. Work in a team environment.

K-TECHnologies, a contract manufacturer of electronic, electrical and electromechanical assemblies is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Inspector. We offer a fast pace, rewarding experience with project opportunities in hi-technology industries which include space, defense and aviation. This position will report to the Quality Manager and will be responsible for inspecting raw material, purchased and manufactured components and assemblies in order to ensure that the items meet drawing/purchase order specifications (dimensional, material, appearance, special processes, documentation requirements) and acceptable standards of workmanship and quality.
Basic Position Requirements· Basic math and computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite familiarity with an emphasis on Excel) · Solid written and verbal communication skills · Attention to detail · Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/specifications. · Ability to use of precision measurement equipment such as but not limited to; micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, surface roughness gauges, etc. · Preparing and processing non-conformance material reports (NCRs). · Review and acceptance of quality records (attention to detail is a must) · Must have 20/20 vision (near) and 20/50 of better (far) and be able to distinguish colors (red, green, blue, and yellow)
Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements · High School Diploma · 2-3 years of inspection experience in an ISO-9001 or AS9100 quality management system environment. (Experience with electronic assemblies (i.e., circuit cards) is preferred.)
Preferred Qualifications · Knowledge/Experience in the preparation of First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102. · Certified in IPC-610 and IPC-620 (or willing to become certified). · Knowledge/Experience in programming and operating a CMM. · Knowledge of gage calibration processes and documentation.
